1.5 million X-Boxes sold, Microsoft is saying (CNBC). Pork larding the CPU chip numbers, huh Intel? I'll say it before the drhoids can.

Microsoft's report is damn good but they're pushing out a GAAP number, instead of a Pro Forma number. Street expected 43 cents Pro Forma, and they're reporting 41 with a charge of 8 cents for court stuff. So, operations-wise, the beat very nicely. Their revs were also better than expected, but they're down over a buck. Go figure.
