I want to applaud you for creating an unmoderated thread. That is as it should be here at SI.

I think both parties are up to their necks in this scandal and politicizing it is a way to shine the spotlight elsewhere, instead of specific criminal acts perpetrated by specific individuals. The only hope ENE and Andersen execs have now it appears is that their culpability for the destruction of thousands of people's financial lives is if the process is politicized. Then they may simply slither away from all the smoke...
