I am addressing this to you as the original thread sponsor.

It seems that, no matter what your original intention was, the thread presently is looking like what one would expect with a title "My belief is better than your belief insult thread"

Personally I would prefer an atmosphere where anyone can put out their beliefs, viewpoints etc and others can dissent in whatever way they want, but within the framework of some mutual respect.

Is that an unrealistic possibility?
