that there is a healthy skepticism out there... IMO, we've moved beyond healthy skepticism....and into the fear category. I'm sure there are investors who are worried about individual companies, and the possibility of having similar accounting. Unfortunately on too many message boards I'm reading "could this be another ENE?"....(just fill in the blank of the name of the company.) It seems like many people who are short this market are using this fear to help their positions. In the future, I think that the management of various corporations will receive a higher degree of scrutiny from their Board of Directors. I'm sure that those who sit on a Board of Directors for a corporation realize that they too can be harmed financially by a controversy involving the company.
