Last week I was hoping for some volatility. I had a JNPR short from 22.5 covered at 19. I have been on the sidelines this week as the whippy nature of this market has kept me back in fear, LOL. I almost went long a few times, now I'm glad I didn't. Think about this, yesterday there was a horrible close, as bad as they get. This morning we gapped up pretty big, then sold off, then reversed and closed very bullishly. Now, if the futures hold we will open precisely at yesterday's low close. I can't figure out any way to swing trade this without enduring some kind of short term pain. Using protective stops will have you covering shorts at the highs and selling longs at the lows......... I definitely am not as nimble a sun and the rest of you folks, this is crazy.
