you already have the answer but here is how to arrive at it.
3x+6y=390
3x=390-6y
x=130-2y

second equation x+y=100
y=100-x

now we have x=130-2(100-x)
x=130-200+2x
x=2x-70
x=70 kids tickets
since x+y=100
y=100-70
y=30 adult tickets
