Posting at 4:44AM again? Up with "Tekbaby"? I just read Berman's Dissent article. I now know why she loves Sweden. I have hung out with a lot of Swedes in the last 6 years. In July of each year, almost all the best Lindy Hoppers in the world are in a little village in Herrang for an annual Dance camp. herrang.com Why a small village in Sweden is the home for an Dance invented by Afro-Americans at the Savoy Ballroom in New York City in 1927 is another story. The reason I bring this up is that when you hang with these people, you find that they are wonderful, warm, friendly types who have no understanding of Individualism. It has been indoctrinated out of them. When I hang with them, I am reminded of the old story of the report made by an admiring American Communist in the '20s, after a visit to Russia, who said, "It is wonderful over there, everybody is poor!"
