Grandfather, you must be a man with one foot in the grave as you fail to comprehend. Death is the ABSENCE OF TIME as experienced by those dearly departed. There is no such thing as a 'long period of darkness'...which involves time. LIFE, my almost dearly departed, is all that there is (that experience time). You should feel comforted by that and thankful for what the Mighty Galt has bestowed upon thee.
