David I don't think that is quite true. I don't have @Home, but in a private LAN you are logging on and off when you turn the computer on and off. Your still in the database and you are still physically connected. Administrators, when they want to do take the system down, KNOW whose computer is stilll turn on. They get somewhat annoyed (yes I'm guilty) at folks who leave their computer on overnight. Irregardless, you are not using any bandwidth unless you are uploading or downloading info.
