Sorry, perhaps I was a little raw from the psychological bruising which I attribute to the market. My disagreement was with the tone of the news article in its effort to spin the Intel earnings release as market bad news. Nothing personal, thanks for publishing it.

I notice that the "concensus" interpretation of the MSFT release yesterday is again negative. I thought the 600 mil taken as an extraordinary one time charge was clearly appropriate. Its not every year that a company (even MSFT) gets into it with DOJ over monopoly charges. If one rolls that charge back into earnings to reflect the trend had there been no suit, then not only did MSFT beat the street on revenues, but they would have beat them also on earnings. So I see this as good news rather than bad. But I like what this "attack" is doing to my chart formation development.<g>

Next Wednesday AMGN and IMNX report and on Thursday QCOM. That will make six of the top 10 QQQ stocks reported. On Tuesday AMZN reports. So the negative news spinners ought to have so real grist for their mills.
