When you're late to market, you do desperate things. Not surprised in the least. They've obviously got idle capacity and need to generate some revenue. Their marketers are having nightmares, so, since misery loves company, they want their engineers to have nightmares as well. Also, they're banking on the fact that few customers will actually use the 1,000 MOU, the average will likely be closer to 600 to 700. If you get one, make sure you can return it for a full refund within thirty days. You'll probably find the quality and coverage is not very good. I could go on and on with their motivations, but it is most definitely not because their costs are less than CDMA for equivalent quality and coverage.
