immediately devoting mucho time to an interview with GE's CEO When Jack Welch used to come on it was like a king in his court with all the subjects laughing at every joke. Even when GE came up in the news they had a difficult time saying anything bad. Once I saw Mark Haines start to say something GE was doing wasn't smart, stop mid sentence and ask the guest he had on if he would comment on it since he couldn't and the guest gave him this look like "Are you nuts? You think I'm gonna cut my own throat here?" Truth is ALL the major media outlets are owned by big corporations now and while everyone talks about editorial freedom, it doesn't exist. You piss off your advertisers too much and they pull their ads.
