CME to launch trading in E-Mini S&P MidCap futures
CHICAGO, Jan 17 (Reuters) - The Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. said on Thursday it will start trading the electronic version of its Standard & Poor's MidCap 400 stock index futures contract at 8:30 a.m. CST (1430 GMT) on Monday, Jan. 28.

The E-Mini S&P's MidCap 400 futures contract will be offered on the GLOBEX electronic platform on Sundays and holidays from 5:30 p.m. CST (2330 GMT) until 3:15 p.m. CST (2115 GMT) the following day, and on Monday through Thursday from 3:45 p.m. CST (2145 GMT) to 3:15 p.m. CST (2115 GMT) the following day, the CME said.

The contract, which is a smaller version of the standard S&P MidCap 400 futures contract, will be listed on the March 2002 and June 2002 quarterly cycles.

The fee structure for this product wil???as the other E-Mini stock index futures contracts listed on the CME.
