Orchestrated is not the right word. For a conscientious Board of Directors and Executives of a major publicly traded company to "pump" the future in any way just does not pay. It is not good for the company nor does it encourage the longevity of loyal employees.

Look at it from the company's view point. Playing the option game is nickel dime. The reason it is done by MS is for tax purposes only. Long term, the company can PRINT stock. This is where the big bucks are. :))
