If they do release faster G4 clocks as per the rumor, it's no big feat to go from 867 to 1G. Frankly, any refresh for just an additional 133MHz is peanuts these days. Why Apple would go thru the trouble of such little additional performance is beyond me.

Those people waiting for the G5 won't budge and buy these supposed faster G4s. They'll take their sweet time and wait. I'm one of those.

[edit] Apple seems to deliver quantum leaps when it comes to applications, yet, they're partnered with a company that keeps gving them a trickle at a time of increased CPU performance. Not a hot combo IMO.
