Lam Research Corporation Appoints Ferdinand Seemann as Vice President of North America Field Operations
FREMONT, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 18, 2002--Lam Research Corporation (Nasdaq:LRCX - news) today announced the appointment of Ferdinand Seemann as vice president of North America field operations. In this position, Seemann will oversee Lam's field operations in North America, including sales, marketing, and service. Previously, he directed the global sales and services organization for Mattson Technologies. He reports to Steve Lindsay, vice president of global field operations and corporate marketing.
In addition to managing global field services at Mattson, Seemann also managed merger and acquisition activities. Seemann has more than 15 years of executive and technical experience in the semiconductor industry.
