I don't like to mix a good rant with relevant information. You ask, what does IMCL have to do with EnRon, in terms of justifying alleged insider selling. Actually, nothing. If they are guilty, they will be prosecuted. But, all that is said here in his defense, is that he is innocent until proven guilty. Lay has not been convicted of anything yet. There is still a lot of information to come out. However, if you want to convict someone for selling when their stock was at it's all time high, I think you would have every executive in America locked up. How serious is the "unsigned" letter that predicted a calamity? It remains to be seen. Was the impetus for selling? Could be. Could have been something else. I think it was illegal. But, I am willing to wait for a court to decide.
