it's no big feat to go from 867 to 1G.

Precisely because it is no big feat they should do it midquarter, every quarter as the PC industry does.

You don't see Dell or IBM wetting its panties because they are moving from 1.8 to 2.0 to 2.2 GHz. They just do it when they are ready.

Now changing from a PIII to a P4, or a G4 to a G5 should be announced to great fanfare.
