coug- i have a slow mind too... 21.6Kbs but i set (in view/prefrences/connection/buffered play) the player to buffer... and buffer... and buffer until i can listen to the whole file without interruption. it takes long... but i read a book while it's doing it's thang. i'm used to entertaining mice elf while waiting for life to catch up wif me <g> (i remember that song -- "in the year 2525" -- do you remember "the universal soldier" by buffy saint marie, the vampire slayer??) the pain of these days will soon be tempered by young ones. that always happens when we older ones prove that we have no control and no idealism left. -polv
