W and "Kenny Boy's" friendship goes back a very long way. The friendship has been well
documented. Certainly, Enron contributed to both parties but, as documented, Enron
donated the most money to Bush and the Republicans.

"Kenny Boy" was interested in the energy industry, just like the Bushies, Cheney and even Connie Rice.
The Interior Secretary, Gail Norton, is also a friend of the energy industry.

Although Lay played golf with Bill and would have made political donations to Bill, I've never heard
that "Socks" thought "Kenny Boy" was a special friend of Bill's.

The purpose of this thread is to focus on the the Congressional hearings, and to
consider "how much influence" Kenny Boy had in the Bush administration.
Other topics that will surface: accounting practices, changes in accounting rules and 401K
plans.

Gosh, Bill, I thought that this forum would be easy: just a short summary of the day's congressional
hearings.
