Hello Bill

Your up late... whoops, not as late as me. Are you drying off over there yet? -35 here tonight, should help the ice road.

If someone reported fancy micros I probably would tell them to get stuffed. You can't tell anything from a micro. Everything looks like a D flawless perfect crystal. You would have to have a very pronounced deep colored stone before you could truly call a micro a fancy and those are the rarest of all.

The NR talked about amber and pink. Both those colors tend to be pastel in nature or washed out if you like, so you would need a larger stone to really appreciate the color. Having said that, the NR was not written in absolutely clear English but as near as I can tell, it suggested that there were a very unusual number and fancy macros, but check for your self as my memory isn't that reliable. NR of Dec 12 of 2000 I think.

Its not beyond the realm of possibility of finding them, but of all the possible good news and considering the typical rarity of good fancies, I would have to believe that having any reported at all would be the wildest stroke of luck,... but then who knows.

I never really followed WSP very closely as it was a dyke in my mind almost from day one and therefore would never be the money maker I was looking for. I read about the fancies from a few posters, but never gave it much mind. There was so much hype, B.S. and flaming on that thread that I couldn't be bothered.

The fact that the market moved before NR's also sent some red flags up for me and signaled that I should stay as far away from that play as I could.

Going to watch the tube for an hour now then hit the sheets.

Have a good one.

Regards

Vaughn
