Limtex, I don't have a personal need to copy DVD's.

I have read about software that allows you to copy data, such as photos, using a standard blank CD in a DVD format. The problem being the DVD player also needs to support that formatting.

I think that the offer you posted is similar in nature.

Right now we rent DVD's when we want to see a movie on the weekend, but I don't know why you would want to copy a DVD movie.
