Enron! Enron! Everyone talks about Enron. Today, a woman who worked for a major US bank, was suspicious of their
accounting practices, too.

Last night while I snoozed my husband heard that
tax shelters were legal!

"Sorry, this is a political scandal all the way. Never
mind the fact that Lay and Bush were best pals,
with Lay helping set the nation's energy policy. Just
consider what the Enron collapse means for Social
Security "reform," one of the biggest issues on
Bush's political agenda."

Folks that I've been talking to are asking: will there be
a trickle down effect on the economy? They worry because
so many people have lost their jobs and consumer debt
is high.
