If I didn't have a clue where the manual was, is there a way of getting the information? For instance is it possible there is some included help on my harddrive which I could look at, or could I grab some sort of identifying number of the board when I open the case and do a google search?

Just provide the model and brand of computer and someone on the thread will likely find the jumper settings for you. <G>
