We should do a TOP 10 nugget list, especially since there are various claims made. The owners of the "Hand of Faith" claim thay have the largest natural gold nugget at 876oz There's also the "Welcome Stranger" nugget which was described as: "In Australia gold nuggets are found in many districts however the area famous as the Golden Triangle, a section of the Central Victorian Goldfields region has produced some of the largest and most beautiful nuggets of all, including the Welcome Stranger (the largest gold nugget ever discovered in whole world) and the Hand of Faith the largest gold nugget still in existence today Meanwhile I found a reference to a 819oz nuggest claiming to be the second largest: samuseum.sa.gov.au Nice photo ! Here's a cool list of top Alaskan nuggets (#1 is 294oz) wiht good photos and info akmining.com
