The photo you have as "found in the Croesus Mine some 40 miles west of Timmins, Ontario Canada" is identical to the photo of the Welcome Stranger nugget replica in the Dunolly Goldfields Historic Museum, Central Goldfields of Victoria, Australia.

"The Welcome Stranger: Found at Moliagul 18 kms north of Dunolly by Deason & Oates on the 5th. of February 1869 and weighing 2332 troy ounces is the largest gold nugget that has ever been found anywhere in the world to this day. The photograph above is of a replica on Display at the Maryborough Highland Society. The photograph below is of a second replica housed in the Dunolly Goldfields Historic Museum also in a sealed casing."

P.S. To the right of the nugget display - Quell is an Australian manufacturer of "fire and safety equipment since 1947"
