We are using qlgc switches at our company. They have lived up to all expectations and the networking staff are very pleased with 1 exception. We had four 1 gig switches and added a 2 gig switch. The switches are supposed to be compatible but as it turns out the 1 gig switches require a firmware upgrade to work with the 2 gig switch. I bought my first shares of ancr when FC was only a concept. Even though it has been quite the roller coaster ride, it is extremely satisfying to see the switches in a working SAN.
