A very excellent post Angler.

Trying to summarize. We've replaced depth with superficiality; replaced enjoying the moment with having many moments soon forgotten.

I recently captured a scene of a cabinet restoration. An older man recessed into the depths of his store; stacked up pieces of furniture along the walls. He was working carefully on a piece under some lights, the only ones lit in the store. Completely focused on his efforts. There's a role model that we don't much value any longer.
