You said "The applications in each user session remain alive and well while you switch to another user's profile and execute separate applications there."

Are you saying that the applications continue to run? Aren't they suspended (very similar to hibernation) until the original user logs in again? If so, that's very different from the Unix definition of multi-user, where multiple users are connected and running concurrently.
