AOL in talks to buy Linux distributor Red Hat-paper

WASHINGTON, Jan 19 (Reuters) - Media and Internet titan AOL Time Warner Inc. (AOL) is in negotiations to acquire Red Hat Inc.(RHAT), a distributor of the alternative computer operating system Linux, the Washington Post reported, citing unidentified sources familiar with the matter.

This doesn't look good for AAPL, they will now have two behemoths with whom they have to compete. Does anyone think that AAPL would be better off selling their OS division to AOL, if they were interested?
