scott-- I argree Lay should rot in jail for a long time. The personal problems are real to those effected and those around them. In addition to jail Lay should become a poor person. His chances of a job are minimal, even as a janitor, as they should be.
Still,, having a $1245 house payment and little savings,, C'mon-- another stupid move. Another did not sell because they were assured the stock would go up-- if there was an ounce of sense they would have sold in order to buy more at a lower price when things began to look rosy-- another stupid move. Allowing a high value account to be cut by a huge % is just another stupid move! Don't you really feel sorry the ice skating lessons of ones daughter will need to be curtailed? Statements like ""You can't crush a company this big, this strong. They were into everything." shows just how dumb some people can be-- do they still buy RCA radios? Many are in deeper trouble due to additional circumstances but it still comes down to stupidity and greed. Sympathy-- not deserved. One must remember, as stated in the article, ene hired the best and kept only those with the greatest work ethic-- they may find another position more easily than they expect if they stop whinning long enough to find a job..
