If that is true, I've got incorrect information. I have been told that Windows would suspend execution during a user switch and that an MP3 player would stop playing if the computer is switched to another user. I have used Windows XP, but I didn't play much around with the user switching feature. I also read that device drivers that prevent Windows XP's hibernation and suspend features from working also prevent fast user switching.

Please provide me a link that explains that applications are not temporarily suspended when using the user switching feature in Windows XP.
