Thanks for your summary. I have looked again at the CRB and it is going to have to do a lot more on the upside, before we can be convinced that the trend has definitely turned. For example, it has not risen above the 200 day MA, and the shorter MA has not crossed above th 200 day MA. Similarly, the DOW industrials did cross above the 200 day MA, but the short term ma has not crossed, and now we appear to have another downturn. It will sure take a while to turn these markets around.

For whatever its worth, I heard that the consensus is that business is picking up(with respect to my occupation) and of course this reflects directly on the economy.
