Unless the situation is changed, folks in England
aren't armed. I believe that many murders and
personal assaults would not take place in the
US if it were not so easy for
Americans to obtain guns.

Look at the mass murders committed in the public schools.
Kids shoot each other.

We have road rage. People shoot each other.

Then, when there are arguments in the home, a family
member turns to guns.

Nepal once had a large royal family until a young prince
got drunk and killed his parents and other family members.

US Attorney General John Ashcroft will not back gun control. He even allows terrorists to buy guns at gun
shows and export them abroad. This has happened in the
past. The practice could be curbed if there were background
checks but Ashcroft will not allow background checks!

So while the US fights the war against terrorism abroad,
the Bush administration allows terrorists or potential
terrorists to buy guns in this country and export them,
unless the FBI happens to get suspicious.
