Power's move to NT?/Sony's move to MacOS?

via MacOS Rumors

Power:

>According to our contacts at Power, Macs will always dominate the
corporation's attention; they expect that Intel-based machines will never
take up more than 20% of their total sales...and a good fraction of that
money will go right back into Mac R&D. Have no fear....Power is about to go
where no computer company has gone before. PowerComputing's PCs will
allow the corporation to sell more Macs than ever before.<

[For those who've forgotten, Rhapsody runs on Pentiums. As a MacOS licensee, Power will have the total flexability to offer customers whatever hard/software configurations they want. Not a bad position to be in! -- soup]

Sony:

>We feel the MacOS compatible's attributes and future directions are
absolutely in line with what Sony wishes to accomplish with computers.
We are not interested in being just another clone maker, we are committed to
making superior computers that integrate Video and Audio, regardless of
the OS or company that originated the technology. It is all about our
customers.<

[Sounds a little sappy to me. What successful computer company ever cared about their customer's satisfaction? :1 - soup]
