OT Market Forecasts

My approach implies Nasdaq will lose another 12% this year after bottoming in the spring at maybe 1350, 33% below the present level.: Ken Fisher, Forbes 2.4.02 published ~1.17.02

I'll say this for Ken. He doesn't pull his punches. You don't often see bottoms in the spring. Tops are much more prevalent in tech around March and April, when conference season draws to a close and we start to wind down for summer. And everyone knows markets tend to bottom in the fall. So this is a most unusual forecast, which is precisely how it was chosen. <g>

If anyone has a list of other notable 2002 forecasts, such as the Wall St. Week elves, could they please post or link them, so that we can check up on them in a year and see how they did?

TIA,
Sam
