Dave, I guess the reason that I talk about .25u is because
I don't know the current state of the process. Somehow I
got the impression that there was a certain # of defects
per square micron. If you produce a smaller chip, then you
get fewer defects. With a smaller process, you get a smaller
chip. Also, if the chips uses a smaller process, it uses less
current and can run faster since the parts are smaller and
therefor have less capacitence. These are just the things I
have heard. If I am right or wrong tell me which.

Of course I could be right, but the # of defects per area
might go up with smaller processes since a smaller differenc
means more the smaller the process.
