Lee I dont think its as easy as all that, I have lost mucho money in the market thanks to a broker, starting with being in the safe stocks and bonds during the Naz bubble. Finally screaming to my broker he was a idiot as I saw all my reits and bonds go down in value, I changed brokers who loaded me up with the right sectors. I took a grave loss on them. # years later had I just left it alone I would have been one wealthy lady, they all came back and to this day some r paying 13% yields. Mostly they were reits like hpt, etc. I held onto ntap and chkp like we discussed before and by not selling them at the low was able to get out with a beautiful profit. I plan to do the same on other stinkers that r fouling up my portifilo. Who knows what tommorow will bring, who would have thought Sept.11 could happen. I think if you r in basically in good companies they will come back and with a little help from options and $ cost averaging. Of course there r the people out there like my sister that when NTAP got to 24 she refused to sell it like I did, :0)
