Yeah but if the street perceives they are playing too many games to deliver the surprise, it could have nasty consequences for them. The St. has become wise to things like back end loaded quarters designed to "make the numbers". Only the suckers will take the numbers at face value or extrapolate based on them. Maybe the old rule 144 was better because it didn't subject the company to such extraordinary pressures to report certain results because it required insider liquidations in an orderly fashion to minimize share supply imbalances. It will be "interesting" indeed.
