I think he put the weight of the world on his shoulders. He knew he had to be spot on to win...as he doesn't have the type of players that can step up and be the guy. Heck, he even talked about that earlier this year. Said something to the effect that there is no one in the huddle that says give me the ball like Sharpe used to do....so Brett has it all on himself.

After that first interception I think the wind went out of his sails. I mean how can you carry that much weight and then have a "miscommunication" with what you have to work with and still get the job done.

Frankly, I am not sure that was Billy's fault either. Had Brett tossed the long ball that was a touchdown play likely. There was no one behind Billy.

Anyway, we gotta get a guy that will step up and shoulder some of the burden. The MAN cannot do it all....

All we need is one. A Keith Jackson, or a Sterling Sharpe or Robert Brooks for that matter. Then the others can relax a little and be a great supporting cast.

PS - Damn I am good at armchairing....don't 'cha think?
