John--I am reminded of the French noble who stumbled on the steps
leading up to the guillotine (think Gillette) and said: "A bad omen;
a Roman would have turned back". Actually I don't know exactly WHY
I'm reminded of this, but never mind. I'm all for #2, and Rick's my
analyst of choice. A ray of Hope?? CSCC posted after the close:
eps up 183%, revs up 176%. Over last year, I imagine, so who knows
whether that's enough to satisfy the Ricks. Other presumably good
earnings (at least the companies who announced them thought so): PAIR,
HMTT, EFFI. XLNX also reported, but I don't know what the results
were; if good, they could help us. Before we're forced to turn to the
Salvation Army. By the way, does anyone know of a web site that posts
EVERYBODY'S earnings as soon as they come out? Janice |
