NORTHCOAST, DAYTON, CINNCINATI, FT. WAYNE, MICHIGAN AND THE DOGS OF WIRELESS WARS!
As for those that have read my posts in the past. You know that I spent considerable time compiling BTA maps of LWIN, and possible competitor's. I realized last night after consulting the CO code Bible that NorthCoast also owns F Blocks in NYC and Boston. But, are held by holding companies, along with the Cleveland license. All of NorthCoast's licenses (except for some of the Auction 35 wins are F Block. So I have updated my NorthCoast map database to account for their NYC and Boston ownership.
For anyone not watching.. There has been a Wireless War taking place between LWIN and NorthCoast over the last year. And what made this obvious to me was the prices that were paid for the Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minn. properties from CenturyTel/MVI. Over 200 million dollars for some 7 million POP's. 30 million alone for little ole' Ft. Wayne. Why was Harvey paying these "historical" astronomical prices for these properties?
The answer was NorthCoast! If NorthCoast acquired these properties, it would expand their empire out of the Northeast and expand it across the Northern Half of the US all the way over to their "base" in Minneapolis.

So the CenturyTel battle was one the LWIN won.. At considerable cost.
Then came the Auction 35 battle.. Before I figured this all out I was confused on why LWIN was bidding for an additional 10Mhz in Dayton? Why did they need more spectrum in Dayton.. Well, as it turned out.. They were defending their front line territory. If you look in the History of the Auction.. You will find that LWIN and Northcoast were in a bidding war with one another. LWIN was trying to block access to Dayton. And one BTA south. The same battle was taking place.. Both Battles were won by Northcoast. with access to those markets. While General White lobbed some offensive strikes deep within the NorthCoast territory with the aid of NTCH. So the line of Defense has been drawn with Auction 35 with the acquistion of Lexington, Lousiville, Columbus OH, Columbus, IN, and Indianapolis, IN. As well as the acquistion of Ft. Wayne, Toledo, and the Michigan Territories, as well as Evansville, Owensboro,KY. and the ChaseTel empire beyond.

To the West lies an important battle.. And that is to solidify the western front in Indiana and Illinois to try and isolate NorthCoasts Minneapolis base. A battle which is sure to include the Amica/BRK base in Illinois and Iowa.
