PCS; It is I, skip. I choose to address you in public rather than private because I would like permission for myself and other well intentioned posters to bring stuff you write over to the Yahoo LWIN board. You keep hitting on data through hard work which we simply cannot afford to miss. I have been referring people over here to be sure they see what you have found, but I think we also need to discuss it over there.

I sometimes wonder why you generate so much reaction--it's not bad in that often excellent discussions result but frequently it seems people just want to knock you down. I guess it is often just people who are far behind the analysis you have developed. They don't really know what you are talking about. And there is also the dogmatic way you have of displaying your certainty as well. I believe I paid attention to your words on the GSTRF board when you still believed in the ultimate success and I know I saw you get more and more convinced that the company was a futile investment. I chose to keep what little investment I had in GSTRF and even increased my ownership of LOR, but you were outspoken in your evaluation of that strategy. It doesn't make me mad that you were more right than I was. But when John Murphy asked me whether I preferred to be right or happy, I discovered a whole new world. A lot of people try to knock down others who are more right than they are. It's a competition which I engaged in adequately but never really could figure out why I always seemed to be crossways with a lot of people.

I do find your conviction about the value of LWIN as an investment to be reassuring. Especially since you seem to define yourself as a realist who will change the minute you encounter evidence that the story is not as good as you now believe. Valuable to have people who can adapt and will tell you of the revision rather than just disappearing to avoid confronting those who remain positive.

Have I your permission? Or perhaps you have some qualifications?

best regards,
Lance
