Interesting interview with CEO of Anderson yesterday. Russert laid into him fairly well and the guy at least is trying to right the ship by exposing himself to Meet the Press, Congressional hearings ( of course, he had NO choice!), etc. I am not sure if Mirant will continue to hang with these guys but one thing is for sure... there is tremendous heat to look deeply into each client's books and clean up any off sheet activities. Medium term, it should be a plus for Mirant to have that type of scrutiny. I think they are a good company but a good dose of oversight helps keep honest people honest and dishonest people...
