I for one prefer not to know until my broker calls me . I then have a seasoned professional to share my grief with. Good brokers are carefully screened for their compassion in difficult situations. I hate to be alone during earnings season and my wife often employs a nurse or a "sanctioned" broker to be by my side 24 hours a day until all companies have reported .I eat only oatmeal with an old wooden spoon. I can't really say this all that much fun.But it's the way it is....
