I highly recommend Gosford Park to you. The Shipping News has been cut a great deal, and my favorite parts were left out of the movie. The skeleton of the story is there. It is entertaining, but read the book, if you haven't yet. The Brotherhood of the Wolf is a very French mix of horror, cultism, and costume drama. Very long movie, and I agree with the reviewers who said it got unintentionally funny toward the end. I think it did. But still- it is a strange movie, you might enjoy it. We rented Swordfish- so so for me, not my kind of movie All Over the Guy was great- although I don't recommend it for the homophobic, but I know you're not The Man Who Cried- well, it is long, and the main character is totally miscast. I hope Sally Potter makes a good movie soon. Orlando was great- but it has been all downhill since then.
