Valence Technology Announces Third Quarter 2002 Release Date
AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 22, 2002--Valence
Technology Inc. (Nasdaq:VLNC), a leader in the development and
commercialization of Lithium-ion polymer rechargeable batteries,
today announced that it will release its third quarter 2002 operating
results after the market closes on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2002.
The company announced that it will conduct a conference call to
discuss the results and to provide a comprehensive progress report
on its key milestones. The call will be held on Feb. 14, 2002, at 5:00
p.m. EDT (2:00 p.m. PDT). The broadcast will be hosted on the
company's Web site located at www.valence.com.
Participants should allow approximately 15 minutes prior to the call's
start time to visit the site and download any streaming media
software needed to listen to the Internet broadcast. An online
archive of the broadcast will be available approximately four hours
following the live call and will remain available for 30 days.
