Among the concerns that have pressured Hanover, according to Goldman Sachs analyst Terry Darling, are poor earnings quality, failure to generate free cash, maintenance capital spending requirements, the accounting treatment of the company's off-balance sheet leases, weakening industry fundamentals and potential external financing needs. "accounting treatment" might just be the buzz word there....also external financing needs....makes ya nervous in this climate... gonna pick up a few shares for my sock drawer,, lol
