I made some ok coin off of a LTBH on LUV for about 5 years. The other ones violate about every rule of LT investing there is....and yet there are times when they go on runs. UAL used to be a lot of fun to trade, I came out about even on it after a few trades and stopped.....

I still think that the Govt. ain't gonna let the majors go down, even if it means letting them merge despite the antitrust laws.
