Pro Forma = most optimistic guess. Proforma is an "estimate" minus any of the real problems associated with a company. Pro Forma estimates for Ene were pretty decent right up until the day it declared bankruptcy. Now I'm not predicting TYC will pull a ENE but thats not the point. The point is you cannot trust management or the analysts that want their business. Those analysts always use pro forma estimates, and you will never get info out of them about the company owning a toxic waste site in Maine for instance....
